Conclusion: Brainiac regain consciousness and seeks revenge on Grax for stealing his force-shield. Brainiac though-casts plans for Superman to build a giant magnet. The magnet pins Grax's ship to the force-shield surrounding Earth. Fearing for his own safety, Grax opens a hole in the force-shield to let Superman through and onto Grax's ship. The bomb goes off destroying Grax's ship and Earth is saved because of the force-shield. Grax turned himself into an immaterial phantom and is last seen hurtling though space. Superman saved Brainiac's force-shield and built him a new spaceship as thanks.
